NEW SUNDAY SERVICE
On the last Sunday of each month, beginning on 26th February 2012, (the first Sunday of Lent) there will be an additional Eucharist at 9am. This service will be less elaborate than the 11am Parish Mass.
Lent.
Ash Wednesday is on 22nd February. There will be the usual 9:15am Mass in Lent
and a Sung Mass at 8pm. There will be ashing at both services.
Lent Group. On Thursday evening there will be a Lent group from 8-9pm in the Parish room. More details to follow.
During Lent we will be putting on some simple Lent lunches after the Parish Mass to raise money for The Bishop's Lent call.
Confirmation Classes will be starting shortly. Please speak to Father Steven if you are considering being Confirmed in June this year. Applications will close on Sunday 26th February.. Only those who already attend Church regularly will be brought for Confirmation.
Planned giving. If you have not yet collected your planned giving envelopes, or would like some for the first time, please speak to Marilyn or Tina after Mass.
Diddie Disciples. Diddie Disciples next meets on Sunday 4th March starting at 10:50am. (See Junior Church pages for further details) This will be the first anniversary of Diddie Disciples. Congratulations to Lauren and her team of volunteers for making this new venture such a success.
